Jordy van Egmond, or better known by his stage name Dyro, has been a well respected figure since he made a splash in to the world of EDM after Laidback Luke discovered him on an online music forum. Shortly thereafter, his first EP was released on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings (Music Times). Dyro continued to amaze the world by becoming the youngest to be recognized as the ‘Highest New Entry’, coming in at #30 in the DJ Mag Top 100 in 2013 (Insomniac).
It seems as though he went from being a bedroom producer studying Engineering, to being at the top of the charts, performing all around the world at clubs and festivals around the world, overnight–having played mainstage at festivals like Electric Zoo, Spring Awakening, Creamfields, and EDCLV. Dyro’s hard work all paid off in 2014 when he had the opportunity to open his own record label WOLV with intentions of opening up opportunities for smaller artists– Loopers, Goja, and Awoltalk just to name a few.
This summer, van Egmond released a collaboration called Latency with Martin Garrix, check it out below!
If you want to hear this track & more, make sure to get your tickets to see Dyro at Maya Day & Nightclub this FRIDAY, HERE!
We look forward to seeing you there!
